El Traje Nuevo del Rey” es la historia de presumido y egoísta gobernante que malgasta todo su dinero en lucir impactantes y majestuosos vestidos sin importarle la realidad de su pueblo. Un buen día un par de estafadores, haciéndose pasar por sastres llegan al palacio y engañan al rey ,haciéndole creer que tienen una tela mágica que solo pueden ver las personas inteligentes .El rey ordena que le confeccionen un traje para lucirlo en el Gran Desfile Real. A partir de ese momento todos mienten.
Nadie quiere admitir que no ve la tela por miedo a que los demás los tomen por tontos.
Pero finalmente alguien dice la verdad…

La fiel adaptación teatral del cuento original de Hans Christian Andersen, interpretada y dirigida por el titiritero solista Omar Alvarez, valiéndose del humor y la picardía, es presentada a modo espectáculo titiritesco, con un montaje realizado en la técnica de títeres de mesa, y cuenta con la muy destacada colaboración de los actores Alicia Tealdi, Susana Sisto y Pelusa Suero (intérpretes de los populares y entrañables personajes de García Ferré, como “Larguirucho”,” Neurus”, “Gold Silver”,”Hijitus”, “Petete” ó “Manuelita” )quienes con sus voces grabadas dan vida a los personajes de esta historia.
La puesta teatral está musicalizada con los temas clásicos de “Queen”, en versión instrumental sinfónica.

“The King’s New Clothes” is the story of vain and selfish ruler who wasted all his money on dresses look stunning and majestic no matter the reality of his people. One day a couple of con artists posing as tailors come to the palace and the king deceived into believing they have a magical cloth that only smart people can see. The king orders her to make a suit to show it off in the Grand Parade Real . From that moment they all lie.
Nobody wants to admit that you do not see the fabric for fear that others will be taken for fools.
But finally someone speaks the truth …

The faithful stage adaptation of the original tale by Hans Christian Andersen, starring and directed by Omar Alvarez solo puppeteer, using humor and playfulness, is presented to show how titiritesco, with a mount made in the art of puppetry table, and has with the very valuable contribution of the actors Alicia Tealdi, Susana Sisto and Fuzzy Serum (interpreters of the popular and beloved characters in García Ferré, such as “Lanky”, “Neurus”, “Gold Silver”, “Hijitus”, “Petete” or “Manuelita”) who recorded their voices give life to the characters in this story.
The stage is set into music with classic themes of “Queen” in symphonic instrumental version.
